FastMart Grocery

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 September 2026

FastMart Grocery & Market Hub (“FastMart”, “we”, “us”) runs an on-demand delivery service for groceries, restaurant meals and everyday marketplace goods. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023 (NDPA).

Information we collect

How we use your information

We use your information to:

Who we share it with

To get your order to you, we share only what is necessary:

We do not sell your personal data.

Third-party services we use

The service providers below process limited data on our behalf so the app can work. They act as our processors — permitted to use your data only to provide their service to us, not for their own purposes. Each has its own privacy policy:

We do not use third-party advertising networks and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

For FastMart riders

If you sign up to deliver with the FastMart Rider app, we also collect and process the following so we can verify you, assign deliveries and pay you:

We use this information to assign and route deliveries, calculate and pay your earnings, keep cash reconciliation accurate, maintain safety and service quality, and meet our legal and regulatory obligations. During an active delivery, your first name, phone number and live location are shared with the customer so they can track and reach you.

Delivery confirmation

A rider may take a photo at drop-off as proof of delivery. Any such photo is kept only as long as needed to confirm delivery and resolve a dispute, and is then deleted.

How long we keep your data

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.

Your rights

Under the NDPA you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, request its deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, and receive a copy of your data. To exercise any of these, email privacy@fastmartgrocery.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

Children

FastMart is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the new version here and update the date above; significant changes will be highlighted in the app.

Deleting your account

You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time — see Delete your account for how to request it, what is removed, and how long it takes.
