Terms of Service
Last updated: 4 August 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of FastMart Grocery & Market Hub (“FastMart”, “we”, “us”) — our website, apps and delivery service. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
About FastMart
FastMart is a delivery platform. Through one app you can order groceries, meals from local restaurants, and everyday goods from marketplace vendors, delivered by a FastMart rider. Restaurants and marketplace vendors are independent businesses that sell through our platform; FastMart provides the technology and the delivery network.
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use FastMart. Keep your account details accurate and your password secure — you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
Placing an order
- Prices are shown in Nigerian Naira (₦) at checkout and include the item price plus any delivery fee and service charge. Restaurants and vendors set the prices of their own products.
- Placing an order is an offer to buy; it is confirmed once the shop or restaurant accepts it. Occasionally an item may be unavailable, out of stock or mispriced, in which case we may decline or cancel the order and refund any payment.
- Where an item is unavailable, we or the merchant may suggest a substitution, which you can decline.
Payment
You can pay on delivery (cash) where offered, or online by card or bank transfer through our payment provider. By paying online you authorise the charge for your order total. If a payment fails, we may hold or cancel the order.
Delivery
- Provide a complete, accurate delivery address and make sure someone is available to receive the order. Delivery times shown are estimates, not guarantees, and can be affected by traffic, weather and demand.
- We deliver within our current service areas; orders outside them cannot be fulfilled. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
Age-restricted items
Some marketplace items — such as alcohol and certain pharmacy products — may only be sold to customers who meet the legal age and other requirements. You confirm you are eligible to buy them. Our rider may ask for ID and can refuse to hand over age-restricted items if the requirements aren’t met.
Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel an order before the shop or restaurant starts preparing it. After that, cancellation may not be possible because the goods are already being packed or cooked. If your order doesn’t arrive, arrives incomplete, or is not as described, contact us and we’ll put it right — through a redelivery, replacement or refund as appropriate.
Acceptable use
Use FastMart lawfully. Don’t place fraudulent orders, misuse promotions, harass our riders or merchants, or use the service for anything illegal.
Merchants and their products
Restaurants and marketplace vendors are responsible for their own products — including quality, freshness, food safety, ingredients, and accurate descriptions and pricing. FastMart is responsible for the platform and the delivery. Where first-party FastMart groceries are sold directly by us, we stand behind them.
Partners
If you join FastMart as a restaurant, vendor or rider, additional terms apply to that relationship, which you accept when you sign up.
Our content
The FastMart name, logo, apps and website content belong to us and may not be copied or used without permission.
Service “as is”
We work hard to keep FastMart reliable, but the service is provided “as is” and may occasionally be unavailable or interrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FastMart is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Changes
We may update these Terms or the service from time to time. We’ll post the current version here and update the date above; continuing to use FastMart means you accept the changes.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
